2021: The Great Social Enterprise Pitch
Out of a pool of applicants, a class of ten incredible social enterprise ideas are selected and begin a 5-week intensive training process in February. Halfway through, The Final Five are selected and carefully coached to prepare for the big day — and a chance to showcase their idea in front of a virtual audience. The Great Social Enterprise Pitch took place on April 16th and was a night to remember — 5 Finalists, 5 Judges, 5 Minutes. Participants competed for an exciting prize package including cash, pro-bono services, and the chance to be Lancaster’s newest innovative business idea!

Fit City Women, an inclusive gym setting with affordable virtual and in-person fitness classes for women, wins the 2021 Great Social Enterprise Pitch
Fit City Women offers affordable virtual and in-person fitness classes for women who have been negatively impacted by the lack of accessibility to affordable and inclusive gym settings. FCW also helps bridge the gap for women that cannot afford memberships at high-end gyms by collaborating with local women-owned gyms to give a high-end experience at a comfortable rate for every budget. FCW offers an inclusive virtual community via social media which is filled with opportunities for women to share their stories, their practices, and their resources.
